I've seen several bloggers and YouTubers post cupcake manis. I've been waiting for my birthday to try it out. There are several cupcake nail tutorials on YouTube but I used AditeeArt as my guide for my manicure. I only did two cupcakes (well four counting my right hand) for sake of time. I used OPI If you Moust you Moust, Claire's Candy Shop, Sinful Colors Lavender and a new franken I made that I'm calling Frosting.
This manicure was so fun to do, I think I'll try it again. My boyfriend went off to the store with his niece and nephew to pick me something up to open at midnight. This is what he bought back. At first he handed me the Revlon Duo and I was excited with that. Then he came back with all these Sally Hansens. I was shocked! Two of them have to go back because I already have them but they picked out some great colors!

China Glaze 2011 Holiday Collection: Let it Snow
I was in AWE when I saw several nail blogs update with information on China Glaze's 2011 Holiday Collection. Considering the fact, that I didn't have any luck last year and my previous luck trying to find limited edition polish, I was ready to give up before I even started my hunt. But I came across a site that had all the polish in stock. Then my "mother-in-law" offered to give me the money to buy the polish. I was head over heels with excitement. I ended up getting 10 out of 12. I won't bother with swatch pictures now, because just about everyone has seen those pictures. But when I do wear the polish in a mani, I'll post those pics then.
I got 3 of the gift sets and bought Holly-Day and Twinkle Lights separately.
The free gifts that came with the gift sets I got.
This haul was received as a gift from my "mother-in-law".

Mini Walgreens Haul - Wet n Wild .99 promo
So last week noveau cheap posted about the Wet n Wild .99 cent promotion at Walgreens and I got instantly excited! It's a great time to stock up on some great items while on a budget.
(from left to right) How I met your magenta, 9.0.2.1 Orange, The Gold and the beautiful
2% milk, Sugar coat. (front) black eyeliner and cotton candy lip gloss.
I've only used 3 of the items I purchased so far. 2% milk (posted pics and a review prior to this post) 9.0.2.1 Orange on my toes and the lip gloss. The lip gloss looks like it might be BAM in your face pink (not that I would mind) but its sheer.
The promo is going on from 8/28 to 9/24 on Wet n Wild products that are originally priced at $1.99. I will definitely be picking up some more products during this promotion.
What are you planning on purchasing or stocking up on from this .99 promo?

Small Coupon Haul
The honey and I went to Wal-Mart (with his brother and mom) today to pick up a few needed items. I clipped some coupons to see if I could find any deals that were worth purchasing.
All items in picture were purchased with coupons :) The Clairol hair dye was $6.92 each but I had a coupon of $5.00 off of 2. The Bic razors were $4.47 and I had a $2.00 off coupon. Aussie 3 minute miracle was $2.84 and I had a $1 off coupon. The Skintimate shaving cream was $2.24 and I had a .55 off coupon. (I also used 2 coupons on food purchase) In total with all coupons, I saved $10.30. :)
Then I went over to Walgreens and the Revlon Grow Luscious mascara (with bonus Revlon Eyeshadow) was already marked down from $7.99 to $4.79 plus I had a $2 off coupon so in total I paid $3.06 (including tax) for the mascara and eyeshadow. The total savings was $5.20
Yay for coupon shopping.
