#busygirlnails - Winter nail art challenge - Week 2: White

Hello starrettes! This week the prompt or theme is white. I couldn't figure out what kind of "art" to do just using whites because I wasn't sure how different whites would stand out from one another. So today I'll be sharing a white that I waited forever to get. Funny thing is; now that I own it, I don't want to use it because I want to save it forever. I'm talking about OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. When this came out, I didn't think I need it because "it's just a white". However, after hearing everyone rave over it for a whole year, I ordered it as a treat to myself mid 2013. Now I will never think it's just another white again, I've learned my lesson.

I paired MBSW with Dare to Wear Chi-Chi.

#busygirlnails - Winter nail art challenge - Week 1: Teal

Hey starrettes! Busy Girl nails is back with a winter challenge! This is the first week and the theme is teal.

Last night my "SIL" was over and I was admiring her nails because she had on a ruffian. It's been ages since I've tried a ruffian, so that's what I went for using teals.
I used WnW Teal of Fortune and Zoya Zuza on my thumb and ring finger. Then on my other fingers I used Zuza and China Glaze Atlantis.

Busy Girl Nails: Orange and brown

While I posted on time on Instagram for the busy girl fall challenge, I didn't do a good job posting on time here. Ooops ;) So here's the two final prompts.

First up orange, I wanted to do something different so I played around with different finishes. I sponged a matte, texture and glitter together and came up with this pretty orange mani.

Then for brown, I pulled out Finger Paints Artist's Inspiration that one of my aunts gave to me in July. I don't buy brown often but this is rather pretty.

Here's a round up of all my manis for my first Busy Girls challenge.

Busy Girls Nails: Oxblood

This week's prompt for the Busy Girls nails is oxblood. I seriously thought that I would be over the color oxblood but nope I'm still liking it a lot. Only my favorite oxblood polish in my stash got left behind in storage. Haze of Love wasn't as dark and vampy as I wanted it to be so I was on the search for new addition. I found Maybelline On the Rum at Kmart in the clearance bin and scooped it up. It's my first in the express finish line and it does dry fast. Does this polish fit in the oxblood family?
Brand: Maybelline
Collection: Express Finish
name/number: On the Rum/672
Finish: Creme
number of coats: 2
top coat: no
