Flounder (inspired) Nails!

 This manicure started because Day 15 of #photoadayJune is yellow. Of course, I decided to do yellow nails. I used Sinful Colors Firefly over 2 coats of Sally Hansen White On. This yellow is really pretty but I wish I didn't have to work so hard to get it opaque. Well, now that I think about it, this sunny color is from the Sheer Shimmers collection so it's supposed to be sheer. But every yellow I own, I have to work hard to get them opaque.

 Then because I don't wear yellow often, I decided to Disneyfy it. Please tell me, it's somewhat noticeable that my design is inspired by Flounder.

Now sometimes my hands don't match and rarely does my right hand make an appearance but today my right hand will say hi. To find out what's on my right hand....stay tuned.

Ulta Minis: Glitterati and Paint the Town (Lav-ish Review/Swatch)

 I received these polishes from the lovely Dollie as a gift. (thanks girl, I love them!!)These are the first ULTA polishes I own. Glitterati has some great dupes for those hard to find polish. I'm happy to have them as back-up. Individual swatch posts (comparisons) and reviews will be coming up in the month of January.

The first polish swatch from ULTA minis is from Paint the Town and that is Lav-ish.

Lav-ish is a muave-taupey lavendar with gold shimmer. The formula isn't too thick or too thin and easy to apply.

Pink Wednesday 6

This week for Pink Wednesday I pulled out an older polish I have in my collection. It is Sally Hansen Chocolate. SH Chocolate is a mauve-rose color with no shimmer. I decided to top it with Sinful Colors Glass Pink. I used 2 coats of Chocolate and 1 coat of Glass pink. This is a perfect shade of pink for fall.



I don't understand why it's called "Chocolate". I would expect for a chocolate color to be in the brown family not the pink family.
