#busygirlnails - Winter nail art challenge - Week 2: White

Hello starrettes! This week the prompt or theme is white. I couldn't figure out what kind of "art" to do just using whites because I wasn't sure how different whites would stand out from one another. So today I'll be sharing a white that I waited forever to get. Funny thing is; now that I own it, I don't want to use it because I want to save it forever. I'm talking about OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. When this came out, I didn't think I need it because "it's just a white". However, after hearing everyone rave over it for a whole year, I ordered it as a treat to myself mid 2013. Now I will never think it's just another white again, I've learned my lesson.

WnW Hush Hush vs Essie Marshmallow

Part of my Christmas present from Loro was nail polish and as many times as he told me "You always ask for nail polish, I don't know which ones you already have. (Meaning: Don't you have enough?)" he still got me some. I asked for Essie and pointed a few out to "MIL" just in case. When we opened presents he gave a small little package with 2 WnW Megalasts as my joke gift. (one was a double I already had so I gave it to "MIL") The other was Hush Hush. Then he gave me another box and that had my Essie polish in it, one of which was Marshmallow. Later on, I noticed they looked very similar so I did a comparison swatch.

Sinful Colors: Social Ladder

2 coats, no top coat or base coat

Social Ladder is a sheer white with iridescent pink shimmer (green shimmer can also be seen in some lighting). It is a color I have had in my collection for awhile but was left behind at my dad's house. This color is perfect for job interviews or if you don't want a lot of attention on your nails. Since Social Ladder is a sheer color, there will still be a VNL even after multiple coats unless you use it for layering.
