Jelly sandwich: Green Rocket

I asked on instagram if anyone could guess what I layered for this nail look. But no one answered... Anyways,  I started with one coat of Sally Hansen Teeny Greeny Bikini. I then topped it with Sally Hansen Green Rocket and finished the "sandwich" with OPI So many clowns..so little time.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Jelly Sandwich: Spoiled Trust Fund Baby

I've been searching for Spoiled Trust Fund Baby for the longest. Finally I came across it in a CVS that I don't normally visit. I knew I wanted to do a jelly sandwich so my first combo was Sinful Colors Outrages with 1 coat of Trust Fund Baby topped with two coats of WnW Sugar Sugar. I wasn't thrilled with this combo but left it on anyways.
When I came home from work, I took off the polish. There was a little glitter left behind but since I wanted another jelly sandwich I didn't mind. So I added 2 coats of WnW Hush Hush plus a coat of Trust Fund Baby followed by another coat of Hush Hush. I liked this combo much better!

Twinsie Tuesday: Sinful Colors Irish Green and Green Ocean

Hey everyone, I'm back with my second edition of Twinsie Tuesday. This week's theme is Jelly Sandwich. I don't own many jellies so I didn't have many to choose from. The first jelly polish that came to mind was Sinful Colors Irish Green. Irish Green is a bright neon squishy jelly polish. I combined that with a layer or two of WnW Party of 5 glitters and then topped it with 2 layers of Sinful Colors Green Ocean. Green Ocean is a flakie/glitter in a jelly-like base. To top it off, I added 2 more layers of Irish Green. I liked the look of this jelly sandwich but it was much too thick to keep on with out denting.

I can't wait to see the other jelly sandwiches the wonderful ladies of Twinsie Tuesdays come up with. You should check them out too.

Franken: Jellies

SH Double Duty Base Coat and 3 thin layers of franken jellies
Apparently I've developed a thing for jelly polish. Reason being, they are awesome for "sandwiching" glitters. To my surprise, I do not have many jellies in my collection. The best solution was to create my own. In the above picture are my swatches of the franken jellies before adding coats of glitter.

The above picture is midway through layering.

The formula for this "sandwich"
Sally Hansen Double Duty Base coat
3 thin layers of franken jelly
1 layer of NYC Starry Silver Glitter
1 layer of jelly
repeat once
apply glitter just to tips (like a gradient effect)
thick coat of jelly
Out the Door - Northern Lights Hologram top coat "silver" (not shaken)
