This week's 52 week challenge is to post a pink manicure for Breast Cancer Awareness. I wear pink A LOT, so I wanted to do something different. I attempted to do a saran wrap mani only problem I don't have saran wrap, I had bubble wrap. I thought any plastic would work, but obviously I was wrong. Regardless, I think this is a pretty combo of pink polishes. I used Sally Hansen Rose Wine and Essie Pink Diamond.
The little pink ribbon is from here.

Mail Time!!!
Pardon the pictures, they are from my phone because my camera was dead. I got a package in the mail today from the lovely Chelsea.
She found Pinkerbell for me and also sent me an early birthday present.
I couldn't bare waiting a whole month to open the polish, so I opened
it today and it was China Glaze White Cap!! I'm so excited!! Thank you
so much Chelsea!!!
Now for my current nails, it involves a lot of layering. First I had 3 coats of 10 I pinky Promise topped with 1 coat of essie pink-a-boo. I just wanted something soft and neutral for the day. Then once I got my package in the mail, I wanted to play but didn't know what to do. I ended up sponging on essie lilacism and OPI planks a lot and waited for it to dry. Then I added 1 coat of White Cap. I can't stop staring at it. My nails might be a distraction at work for me tomorrow. hehe

Spring Challenge - April Showers Bring May Flowers (1)
There are a few other challenges that I have been wanting to try. I don't always have the latest collections and I don't receive press information about new releases so I'm often stuck on what to post. That is why I like doing challenges because know I have something to do. Plus, I'm finding other great bloggers and building my nail art skills.
The next challenge I am participating in was created by Polished Prisms and it's great because we can go at our own pace. So here's my first post for this challenge: Spring Pastels.
The polishes I used for my Spring Pastels are (thumb) OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender, Sinful Colors Luminary, Olympia, Unicorn and Essie Lilacism.
So far here is a list of bloggers participating in this challenge:
Hannah from Polished Prisms
Charlotte from Charlotte's Nails
Karine from Karinea0a
Heidi from DIY Polish & More!
Ashley from One Nail to Another
Amanda from Mandy's Polish
Sue from Creative Nail Design by Sue
Tess from Football and Fingernails
Victoria from Manicurator
Jess from Nearly Natural Nails
Dani from Rustic Comfort
Kayono from Neues vom Kellerkind

WnW Hush Hush vs Essie Marshmallow
(pardon my cuticles - this was taken in between manis)
Part of my Christmas present from Loro was nail polish and as many times as he told me "You always ask for nail polish, I don't know which ones you already have. (Meaning: Don't you have enough?)" he still got me some. I asked for Essie and pointed a few out to "MIL" just in case. When we opened presents he gave a small little package with 2 WnW Megalasts as my joke gift. (one was a double I already had so I gave it to "MIL") The other was Hush Hush. Then he gave me another box and that had my Essie polish in it, one of which was Marshmallow. Later on, I noticed they looked very similar so I did a comparison swatch.
