Twinsie Tuesday : Fall to Winter transition

Hello everyone! It's Tuesday (night) and this week we're posting a seasonal transition manicure. I think usually I do gradients for these type of prompts. But this time I wanted something simple. I started with Essie Parka Perfect and then topped two nails with Sinful Colors Flake Out. 

Parka Perfect was from Essie's 2013 Winter collection and it's a dusty light blue with a slight shimmer. I chose this color because in the bottle it sort of reminds me of the skies on a nice Fall day. Flake Out is a frosted blue shimmer with light blue hex glitters and large (hard to get) holographic snowflakes. I chose this topper because it just screams FROZEN and winter.

Twinsie Tuesday : Summer to Fall transition

Happy Tuesday everyone! Sorry my post is a little late, it was a bit of a lazy, crazy weekend. Today's TT theme is Summer to Fall transition. I decided to go with a "perfect" Fall color, Wet n Wild Careful It's Vine-tage. This is two coats without base or top coat.

Twinsie Tuesday: Winter to Spring Transition

Hey everyone! This week we're doing Winter to Spring transition. I knew I wanted to do something that involves multiple springy colors but since it's still yucky here, it doesn't feel like Spring yet. I decided to do some sponging over Sally Hansen CSM Dorien Grey.

 I used Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink, Sinful Colors Sugar Rush, Unicorn, Rimmel Wild Orchid, elf Mint Cream and Coral Dream. For my accent nail I used Sally Girl Chocolate Chip with random greens to "represent" the dirty snow that is melting away in our backyard.

Twinsie Tuesday - Summer to Fall transition

Hello everyone, welcome to another edition of Twinsie Tuesday. This week's theme is summer to fall transition.  Honestly, I generally don't put much thought into season to season transitions because I wear whatever polish I feel like wearing no matter what type of year. Also it's somewhat difficult for me to believe it's about to be Fall mainly because I won't be seeing that drastic change in the weather and scenery this coming season. However, since yesterday was Labor Day that officially means that Fall is near. I decided to do my transition manicure incorporating that holiday. I did white nails with red and blue glitter gradient. On my accent nail I did an appropriate Fall grey with a reverse glitter gradient.

Twinsie Tuesday: Transitional polish - spring to summer

Good Tuesday everyone! Today's Twinsie theme is Transitional polish from Spring to Summer.I don't know about the other ladies but for me it's way too hard to choose just one polish that's best to go from Spring to Summer. I decided to pick 3 and do a leopard/cheetah print to show the transition. I'm wearing China Glaze For Audrey (yes, again). Then I did my spots with Sinful Colors Orange Cream and the details with WnW Heatwave. I think this is great for transition between the two seasons because it incorporates a minty color as well as a pastel and a bright.
