Girly-Girl Challenge - Day 2

I'm back with day 2 of the Girly-Girl challenge. I probably won't post as close next week but then again, I might. Regardless, I like doing these challenges because I know I have content to post. The theme for day 2 is Gimme that BLING! Diamonds are a girl's best friend, so put some sparkle on those nails!

I thought long and hard about what nail polish I had that made made me think "bling bling". I ended up going with a beauty from Wet n Wild Coloricon's Ice ~~Ice~~ Baby collection. To make it even better, the polish has a fitting name, Diamonds in the Rough. This is 2 coats of Diamonds in the Rough.

On my accent nails, I used Revlon Siren (picked up yesterday on sale from CVS with another Revlon polish and the WnW shadows I posted about, courtesy of my boyfriend). Siren was opaque in 1 coat but I did 2 for good measure.

For the nail art, I attempted to do a blingy necklace. For the necklace I used Milani HD and for the charm I used Pure Ice 537CP (a silver glitter) and topped that with the silver holo glitter from Claire's Precious Metals. I also added a layer of the Claire's silver holo glitter over my middle finger for a more blingy effect.
