Happy Sunday everyone. Today I have a swatch of one of the new (to me) Sally Hansen Color Foils. I picked this up from Walgreens doing a candy run before watching Maleficent. I hadn't read up on them before purchasing but I bought one hoping it would be good for stamping. At this point, I haven't stamped with it but I've read it's somewhat difficult to stamp with.
The color I have is Liquid Gold. The directions say to use without base coat, so that's what I did. I buffed my nails a bit before applying the polish. There are still some imperfections but looks pretty good for being a chrome polish. This was two coats of Liquid Gold.
That's a nice gold.
ReplyDeletei just tested this one out tonight on my sister's nails,,i used two coats of ridge filler and then one coat of seche vite and then the gold..it went on so smooth..u do need to be careful not to use too many brushstrokes..also added topcoat and it didn't affect how metallic it looked...really smooth and pretty :)
