Twinsie Tuesday: Most Hated/Unflattering polish

Hey bonitas! I'm back with another edition of Twinsie Tuesday! This week's theme is most hated/unflattering polish. Now to be honest, it's not often that I keep a polish that I hate or find unflattering. I usually give it away or franken it. In fact, the only polish that I did keep that I hate, I think I already posted (complained) about it before. So in an attempt to find a polish that was "unflattering", I stopped by a beauty supply store on my way home from work and picked up what I thought was an ugly polish based on the fact that I usually don't like this type of finish. I paid $.99 for a brand I never used and was expecting to hate it.

Well to my surprise, I actually kinda liked how it looked on.

Color Name/Number: Americano/C041
Finish: metallic
Number of Coats: 2
Top Coat: no
I showed my "MIL" and told her what it was supposed to be. She told me it was a pretty polish. Then tried to help me find an "ugly" polish in her stash (some of which are my abandoned ones I gave her in 2010) but we couldn't find an ugly one. We concluded that we just don't buy ugly polish.
So since we're supposed to post a hated or unflattering polish; I couldn't end the post on a good note, could I? I decided to feature my most hated polish once again. This is Petites Island Smoothie. I despise it. The only reason I keep it is to wear under red/pink polishes that tend to stain.



So I'm interested in seeing the other Twinsies most hated polishes! Oh and a special welcome to the family to Tara and Cordia.

    Haha, before I read your post, I was like, "I actually really like that polish."  Good thinking about adding an extra ugliness to complete the post :)

    I think it looks good on you, too! The second one though, is not the most flattering. But I think I would not like that on most anyone.

    yeah, this is actually pretty nice. but the second one.. yikes. pearly pinks can be the worst sometimes.

     Pearly, frosty and metallic are usually not my favorite finish. This pearly pink is no exception.

    Yeah, I really like them alot they have great color payoff and last as good as more expensive brands.

    The I.C.E polish isn't bad at all. Island Smoothie on the other hand, yikes! I don't think Island Smoothie would look good on anyone, and I doubt it's even pedi worthy lol
