Twinsie Tuesday - Ice Cream

Hi everyone, I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to get this posted because I don't have internet again. It's awful :( but I'll try to continue to get my TT posts up weekly. If I'm slow responding to comments, it's not because I don't want to - just because I can't. I hope you all understand.

Today's theme is ice cream. My inspiration was chocolate chip ice cream with sprinkles on top.

Work appropriate nails - edition 2

Here's my second installment of work appropriate nails, I wore this mani last week. The two polishes are from Sinful Colors sugar rush collection and the glitter is Sally Hansen strobe light. At first I was playing it safe with soft pinks but I amped it up a little with this accent nail. As much as I love pink, I was getting a little bored with only pinks.

If I don't respond to comments, it's not because I don't want too but because I don't have reliable internet access. I will respond to all comments as soon as I can.

Twinsie Tuesday - Chevrons

Hello friends! This week's theme is Chevrons. I love chevrons so much but I can never get them "just" right. For this chevron mani I used a pueen stamping plate with Revlon Midnight Affair. My base color is WnW Blue wants to be a billionare.

Work "appropriate" nails - Hannah Pinktana

Hello all! I know there hasn't been much from me this week. The reason behind that is because I haven't been polishing my nails as much, just haven't been inspired. I also got a new job! I've been out of work since May when we moved and to be honest - I missed working only because working led to a paycheck which leads to new polish. ;) Thank heavens for my family and friends for being my polish fairies while I couldn't shop.

Anyways - tonight's post may end up becoming a new theme here on my blog. I've seen it done before but never had to worry much about it. I'm talking about work appropriate nails. Ever since I started blogging about polish, I haven't had a job where "work appropriate" polish was enforced. I wear a uniform and while I can have polish on my nails, I'm quite positive look at me colors are not allowed (at least not while I'm a newbie). So I need to sort through "work safe" polishes because I can't stand the thought of naked nails everyday.

I'm wearing 2 coats of Essie Pink Diamond, a frosty, pearly baby pink. I topped it with WnW Hannah Pinktana and my accent is Sinful Colors Showstopping. It's got some sparkle but not too flashy.

Twinsie Tuesday - Circus Inspired

Hey everyone, welcome to another Twinsie Tuesday post, this week's theme is circus inspired and to be completely honest, I was not too excited about this theme. See the thing is I don't like clowns and when I think of a circus I automatically think of clowns. I know there's more to the circus than just clowns but all I can think about. *shudders* So obviously I did not want to put clowns on my nails. I asked my DBF what I should do and he said to do something with the ringmaster. When that failed I went with the circus tent. I  used China Glaze With Love, WnW A Blank Cancas and Pure Ice Freedom. This was not my best this week...sorry twinsies.

Black and White Challenge: Recreate

Hey everyone! Today's the last day of the black and white challenge. It was lots of fun. Today's theme is recreate your favorite mani with a twist! Only it has to be inspired by another blogger's previous post. I chose to recreate Galatic Lacquer's post of her geometric mani. My lines aren't as sharp but it turned out nice and reminds me of a black n' white cookie (with sprinkles). I used a white polish and Pure Ice It's Complicated which gave me my hint of color.

Black and White Challenge - Faux Fur (animal themed)

Today it was hard narrowing down which animal print I wanted to do on my nails. After watching Meliney's animal print videos, I wanted to do a cow print but decided on feather print using LA Colors French White and WnW Ebony Hates Chris.

Twinsie Tuesday - Mish Mosh

This week the Twinsies are doing mish mosh nails, that's a different technique on each nail. I love mish mosh nails because it's fun to tie different looks together. I did glitter, stamping, chevrons and free-hand using only 3 polishes.

Black and White Challenge - Glam/cute

TOday's theme is glam and cute. We had the option to choose between bows, bling, studs and glitter. I with the easiest bows and glitter. I'm sure it's no surprise which two polishes I've used but I used LA Colors French White and WnW Ebony Hates Chris. The glitter I used is nubar black polka dot and OPI Piroutte my Whistle.

Last week I received a new Influenster box with a Slim Fast Strawberries n' cream shake. It came with 4 recipe cards with mocktails and cocktails created by Dr. Mixologist. I also got that nifty martini glass. 

The Strawberries n' cream shake on it's own is actually really tasty. I didn't follow any of the recipe cards this time but I did go and by Yoplait Strawberry and Banana fruit smoothie mix and it tasted wonderful. I'm definitely interested in trying out the recipies on the cards.

Black and White Challenge - Free-hand for All

Hello everyone, the 3rd theme for the black and white challenge is free for all. I love looking at other bloggers free-hand designs. I don't know how they do it but they always manage to make it look like a masterpiece especially Ash from Art Evolve. I tried to channel her when doing today's theme. I used LA Colors French White and Diamond nail art in Black.
