Hi guys, it's Tuesday and you know what that means...it's Twinsie Tuesday!!! This week the theme is a splatter manicure. So a splatter mani is
supposed to be easy right? Well for me it's kind of a challenge. I used
MissJenFabulous' tutorial and let me just say it did not go as smoothly. I had globs of polish everywhere. I did find out it worked better with runny polishes so maybe that's where I went wrong before. Anyways, here's how my splatter turned out.
On my ring finger, I decided to attempt a freehand "splatter". Which of the two do you like better? The actual splatter or the "splatter".
Here's my work area when I was finished.
I used:
Revlon Royal
Sally Hansen Sunny Side
Sinful Colors Gogo Girl
Spoiled Correction Tape
Be sure to check out my Twinsies to see the other splatter manis.
These turned out awesome! I love the red, yellow, and blue combo!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the "splatter". I like that the base white shows through a bit more
ReplyDeleteI do too. It's more controlled.
DeleteI really love the primary colors used in this! And it reminds me of those spin art things that were big in the 90s!
ReplyDeletePrimary colors were the only thing I was sure about for this mani. I remember those but I never used one.
DeleteNice splatter mani! Haha seems like it created a huge mess though.
ReplyDeleteThanks, oh it did!
DeleteLooks great ChiChi! It is such a messy process hey? I got splatters all over my keyboard! WHoops!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne! On the keyboard? Oopsies!!
