Twinsie Tuesday: Canadian Choice

This week the Twinsies were split into two teams for Canadian's Choice. Ash and Anne chose the theme for each team. Ash chose for her team to do a Winter themed manicure with nail art. I have two different manicures because the first didn't come out as I wanted but I'll show that last.

Here's the Winter themed manicure I was happy with.

It's supposed to be a scarf with snow falling :)

I used Sinful Colors Lavender topped with Confetti Blue Glitz. Then I used WnW French White Creme to draw a wavy line across my nails for the base of the scarf. Next I used SH Mint Sorbet, Bubblegum Pink and Raspberry Wave to fill in my scarf. The snow was done using French White Creme and OPI Pirouette My Whistle.

Now for the one that didn't come out how I wanted. My "father-in-law" gave me some money to get some polish. I picked up Blue Glitz and Mint Sorbet and thought the combo would be a nice wintery combination. I was mistaken because it still looks like a pretty mint green. This was two coats of Blue Glitz over Mint Sorbet.

I attempted to make snowflakes but since my base color was off I wasn't thrilled with the outcome.
