Blue Shirt Day - World day of Bullying Prevention

Although I didn't rock a blue shirt today (although I did have a blue cami on) I participated in this cause by wearing blue nails today.

I was bullied in school by a group of girls who were once my friends and one day they just stopped being my friend and started to make fun of me. I was miserable and spent several lunches in the bathroom crying or talking to the guidance counselor. Eventually one day, they stopped picking on me. Sometime later, one of the girls came up to me one day and apologized for what she had did. I wish this was the case for all victims of bullying; that their bullies just give up/grow up and move on. What's sad is that it doesn't stop in school. Bullying happens in the workplace and online to children and grownups alike. To this day, I still don't know why they chose me to pick on. But absolutely NO ONE deserves to be bullied.
