Hello all! Today I have my first review from my Influenster Summer Beauty VoxBox. Today I am reviewing Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color in Ionic Indigo.
First, here's what Influenster had to say: New! Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color is summer's hottest nail trend that allows you to create a gorgeous 3-D nail art effect in just seconds! This unique formula was specially developed with metallic particles - just hold the built-in magnet over wet polish to reveal a unique design on the nail.
Ionic Indigo applies nicely and is opaque in one coat. Although I applied two coats as the directions on the back of the bottle said to do, I would have been satisfied with one coat. The magnet is located in the overcap which comes off. This is good because you don't have to fumble with the whole polish when trying to get the magnet to do it's magic. The brush is a good size but it does not have a wide brush tip. Bonus! The brush does not have any wonky hairs sticking out.
The magnet is easy to work with and actually pulls the particles. I held the overcap in place just below my cuticle and slightly rotated my finger so the design applies to the whole nail. Just be careful not to get your finger to close to the magnet.
Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color retails for $9.99. I have seen it at Target, Walmart, Walgreens and CVS.
I would definitely recommend purchasing Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color to a friend. In fact, before I received my Influenster VoxBox, I bought this same polish for a friend for her birthday in June. So when I opened up my VoxBox and saw this sitting inside, I screamed with excitement!

It looks like they pick up the magnetic image well!
