I always loved how water marbles looked on other bloggers. But when I saw this on the challenge list, I was not looking forward to it simply because it looked like a lot of work and I thought it would be complete fail.
Well, my water marble took several attempts...okay it was 3 attempts for a somewhat successful water marble manicure. This time, the fourth time was a charm...kinda. By looking at the picture, it's obvious that by the time I got to the pinky I sorta had the hang of it. If I ever try water marble manicure again, it'll probably only be an accent nail. There are some obvious errors but I think it came out rather well.
I used Wet N Wild French White Creme as my base white. Then I used China Glaze Strawberry Fields (thank you
Anna!), Sinful Colors Citrine (thank you
Brandi!), SC Pull Over and SC Exotic Green for my marble.

ReplyDeleteI am like you I really think they are pretty, but they are really intimidating. The work involved, plus the fail factor. I don't know how some people make them look so easy :O/
