Sally Hansen - Rock Candy

Tonight I am sharing a polish that I decided to give to my sister because hopefully she will get more use out of it than me. Although my sister doesn't share my love of nail polish and thinks I have too much,  I try to get her to fall in love with it. Her dilemma is she doesn't like color on her nails. I figured this polish would be perfect for her because it's sheer with just a hint of sparkle.

I do not remember when I picked this polish up (maybe last summer) but I do remember that I was looking for something else and thought it would hold me over. This is Sally Hansen Rock Candy and as beautiful as it looks in the bottle, it just does not portray that beauty on the nail. Yes, I have tried it layered over other polishes...nothing. It just doesn't do it for me.
please excuse the yellow tinted nails

Brand: Sally Hansen
Line: Hard as Nails
Color Name/Number: Rock Candy/300
Finish: Iridescent glitter
Number of Coats: 3
Top Coat: no

So if you see this on the shelves, I would pass on it unless you plan on frankening it or are in love with sheer glittery polishes.

This would be pretty good to franken!

  2. I get so frustrated when polishes aren't as pretty on the nail as they are in the bottle!

  4.  If my sister had said she wasn't interested in it, I would have added coral.

  5. This looks so promising in the bottle. Maybe it would look good over a navy blue? I hate when polishes look like they're going to be fun and they turn out to be too sheer :0(
