Black and White Challenge - Stamping

Here's day 2 of the black and white challenge, today's theme is stamping. It might have been easier if I had stamping polishes or a non smearing topcoat but it is what it is. I used LA Colors French White and WnW Ebony Hates Chris. THe plate I used is Pueen 12.

Twinsie Tuesday - Something new

Hello everyone, it's Tuesday again so that means it's Twinsie Tuesday!! This week our theme is something new. I decided to use a new to me polish that Amanda sent me. This is Smitten Ladybird, a milky pink jelly with multiple sizes of hexagonal glitter. I used 3 coats but next time I'll probably layer 1 or 2 coats over a similar pink.

Black & White Nail Art Challenge - Geometric

Hey all! So I'm starting another challenge, this one is hosted by Beauty Shoes nails fun. The theme of this challenge is black and white. I believe this is the first black and white challenge I have participated in and I'm sure it will be tons of fun. So let's get started with the first theme, geometric. I went extremely basic with my "nail art" and did basic shapes. I used LA Colors French White and Black Diamond nail art in Black.

OMD Challenge - Day 28 - Inspired by TV show

Today's theme is inspired by a TV show. Just like with the movie theme, I didn't know what to do. I decided to use WnW Grey's Anatomy because it was an easy choice. Then I used Sally Hansen Honeymoon Red and a stamper and did a heartbeat.

OMD Challenge - Day 27 - Jewelry

Thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday. Today's theme is jewelry inspired. Even though I recently picked up the rest of my jewelry from my dad's, I didn't feel like I had a good selection to choose from. I went with an older bracelet that was easier to transfer to the nail. I used China Glaze Icicle and Sinful Colors Pink.

OMD Challenge - Day 26 - Fav. Holiday/Vacation

Today's theme is favorite holiday or vacation. I'm sure most of my regular readers can already guess where my favorite vacation spot is at...Disney! Yes, even though I'm a born and raised Florida gal, staying at a Disney resort would be my ideal vacation. I've only had the pleasure of staying on property one time and that was a Christmas present from my dad for our family in 2010. I've dreamed of staying on property again and the resort I want to stay at is the Polynesian Resort. Hince the reason I based today's nails on the Poly.

Birthday nails 2013!!

It's my birthday!!! Here are my birthday nails! Like previous years, I used my favorite color and added a cupcake. My base color is Sinful Colors Pink. Then I layered on 2 coats of Sally Hansen HD LCD. The blue glitter is Hard Candy Birthday Bash. (I've held on to that since April to use for my birthday mani...Lol) My cupcake is Sally Hansen Himalayin Blue and China Glaze It's a Trap-eze.

OMD Challenge - Day 25 - Inspired by a movie

Hey everyone!! Today's theme is inspired by a movie. When themes are this broad, it's hard for me to think of a idea for a mani. I eventually decided on Breaking Dawn (part 1) which is a far-stretch. My inspiration is when Bella wakes up on her honeymoon and feathers are falling. The accent nail is blinged out just because they got married.

Hello everyone! Today's theme is inspired by a tutorial. I chose another design from CutePolish. But instead of "strawberry ice cream" I did "Mint Chocolate Chip" using Hard Candy Gummy Green. That's perfect for a hot summer day.

Hello everyone! Tonight's theme is inspired by music. I was not sure what to do for this theme but then I decided to go basic. I did a few music symbols and attempted a xylophone because that reminds me of music class in elementary. I loved music class, it was my favorite special.

Twinsie Tuesday - Splatter

Hi guys, it's Tuesday and you know what that means...it's Twinsie Tuesday!!! This week the theme is a splatter manicure. So a splatter mani is supposed to be easy right? Well for me it's kind of a challenge. I used MissJenFabulous' tutorial and let me just say it did not go as smoothly. I had globs of polish everywhere. I did find out it worked better with runny polishes so maybe that's where I went wrong before. Anyways, here's how my splatter turned out.

On my ring finger, I decided to attempt a freehand "splatter". Which of the two do you like better? The actual splatter or the "splatter".

OMD Challenge - Day 22 - animal inspired

Besides cheetah/leopard and zebra print, I also really like giraffe print. So for today's theme I decided to pull out my stamping plate that most resembles a giraffe print but went with an untraditional color scheme. What do you think? Does it really look like a giraffe or like some type of stone print? I used Kleancolor Dark Brown and WnW Heart's Desire.

Mint Manis for Talia

Last Friday the nail polish community came together to remember Talia Joy Castellano who passed away on July 16, 2013 at age 13 from cancer. From watching Talia's videos, anyone could see that she was a brave, talented little girl with a bubbly personality. She made an impact on many people and will be missed.

Organized by nail polish wars and inspired by Talia's last instagram post (seen above), everyone did mint manis. For my mint mani, I used WnW I need a refresh-mint, Revlon Heavenly and Two Birds Just Keep Swimming.

OMD Challenge - Day 21 - Stamping

Hey everyone, here's my stamping manicure for the OMD challenge. I used Avon Ruby Slippers, China Glaze Icicle and a Pure Ice silver glitter that only has a number. I stamped with MASH plate 43.

OMD Challenge - Day 20 - 3D nails

I didn't have much here to do a 3D mani, so I got creative and found something random to stick on my nails. The polish colors is China Glaze With Love and Sinful Colors Black on Black.

OMD Challenge - Day 19 - Glitter

Hey everyone! I missed yesterday's post so there will be two posts today. The first one is glitter nails. I did two versions of glitter nails but I'll save the other one for a different day. For this mani, I applied Sinful Colors Dream on as my base color. Then I added Revlon Facets of Fuschia and used WnW Back Alley Deals for the tips. Purple overload!

OMD Challege - Day 18 - Delicate

When I think of delicate nails, I think of nice soft colors with a subtle print. At first, I went too subtle with my print and it barely shows up. Finally, I decided to go over it with a white.
